Full Flakes Epoxy Flooring

A FULL FLAKES epoxy floor finish is by far our most beloved installation for residential garage and home gym epoxy floors. Its appearance is suggestive of granite stone, making it a popular choice for a decorative epoxy floor finish. ¼ inch-coloured flakes can be mixed to create any effect. A final clear coat provides a beautiful gloss which is also UV, stain and chemical resistant.

See our colour palette below featuring 10 different attractive mixes or choose your own combinations.

Does your floor require specific attributes? We spread additives onto your epoxy flooring to best suit its usage. Make your floor more slip-resistant, create an anti-static floor to reduce its combustible dust build-up, reduce the gloss, or incorporate a specific design into your floor.

A FULL FLAKES finish is best suited for use in garages, residential or commercial gyms, schools, cafeterias, hallways, condominium and high-rise foyers, and research facilities.

The Process

  1. We prepare your concrete floor surface by blast tracking the floor with a diamond toothed blade and by expanding the cracks with a V-cut blade. This serves to open the pores of the concrete for subsequent coat adhesion. Once completed, we vacuum all dust, stones and impurities because it is essential that your floor is spotless.
  2. We add an ADH SOLID at 8 mils thick to your entire floor, resurfacing the cracks in the concrete while also serving as a basecoat for your epoxy floor.
  3. We fill any remaining smaller cracks with a crack filler and after it dries, it is sanded and vacuumed.
  4. A colour pod of your choice is mixed into an ADH SOLID layer and spread to a thickness of 20 to 30 mils over the entire surface of your sanded and vacuumed floor.
  5. Does your floor require specific attributes? We spread additives onto your epoxy flooring to best suit its usage. Make your floor more slip-resistant, create an anti-static floor to reduce its combustible dust build-up, reduce the gloss, or incorporate a specific design into your floor.
  6. A final clear coat of epoxy provides a beautiful gloss which is also waterproof, UV, stain and chemical resistant.
